As a visual artist and art historian, I weave together the threads of creativity and academia to create vibrant, thought-provoking works of art. A gold medalist in MPhil Art History from PUCAD (2021), I explore expressionism and post-impressionistic techniques, experimenting with impasto painting to add texture and depth to my abstract compositions. With a background in painting, ceramics, and design, my practice is rooted in experimentation and precision. I work in all mediums of painting, including acrylics, oils, and watercolor, with a current focus on acrylics and its amalgamation with thick layers of texture. I’ve worked on commissioned pieces, including portraits, and my art has been showcased in group exhibitions at Alhamra and Aesthetic Circle. My main focus as an artist is to capture the essence of a passing moment into my artwork and make it timeless. Through my work, I aim to celebrate the beauty of the everyday and invite viewers to experience the world through a unique lens, where color, emotion, and texture blend. I’m driven by a passion for art that transcends boundaries, and I’m constantly pushing the limits of my creativity to explore new ways of expressing the human experience.
