Description
My name is Asma Arif. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2020. After that, I actively participated in numerous national and international group exhibitions and art competitions, where I received several awards, including silver and gold medals. These experiences helped shape my artistic vision and gave my work a distinct identity within the contemporary art scene. In 2025, I began my MPhil in Fine Arts to further develop my conceptual understanding and technical skills. My artistic practice is primarily based on Expressionism and Socialism, through which I explore emotions, social realities, and collective consciousness. My work often reflects issues of social inequality, responsibility, and the relationship between individuals and society. Alongside this, I also create calligraphy and animal portraits, using symbolic imagery and expressive forms. I mainly work with the Kalam dot technique, which allows me to build rhythm, texture, and depth through patience and repetition. Through my art, I aim to engage viewers in reflection and encourage a deeper connection with social and emotional narratives.
