Dr. Farrukh Seir has led a remarkable career, excelling in diverse fields such as medicine, education, and social development. His professional journey includes serving as Deputy Surgeon General, National Focal Person for the 2005 earthquake, and holding key leadership roles such as Principal of Wah Medical College, faculty member at Khyber Medical University, and Caretaker Minister for Health and Higher Education. Despite his demanding career, Dr. Seir’s passion for art remained a hidden treasure until his retirement. A self-taught artist, he works with oil, acrylics, and watercolors, drawing inspiration from the interplay of light, color, and forms in nature. His innovative approach to art explores abstraction and aesthetics, creating paintings that evoke various moods and a touch of fantasy, leaving a lasting impression on viewers. Dr. Seir has showcased his work in prominent exhibitions across Pakistan and has established his own art space, Gallery 21, located in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad. He views art as a universal bridge that fosters understanding and appreciation of the human spirit, reflecting his belief in the transformative power of creativity.
