Description

Mind is a studio and eye is the light. The eye not only loves order but seeks out form in random patterns, incidental images in everyday objects and beauty in ordinary. The eye and mind work together to paint, draw and create. Creativity for me is a process of achieving a transcendent state where there is a complete loss of self- consciousness and sense of oneness with not a specific concept or subject matter but with any concept and every subject matter. Therefore I decided to break these shackles of conceptual and thematic prison and start to relish drawing and painting as a tool of self- awareness and engagement with the visual world around me rather than something separate from living and seek the freedom of giving self- expression to reality in totality. Our personal way of thinking influences what we see in our surroundings, visually transforming and reshaping mere allusions according to our own brand of curiosity. A few seeds of an idea in our minds can grow into a complete image. The present work is a step ahead of converting reality into that visual founded instinctively as a response trigged by an eternal object. The parameter of execution has its base in attaining that child like clarity, fearlessness, spontaneity and pleasure while drawing and painting.
