Description
Shiza Naveed is a Pakistan-based visual artist, textile, and jewelry designer whose practice explores themes of journey, transition, and contemporary cityscapes. She is a Gold Medalist graduate of the University of Home Economics, where she received formal training in art and design. She began her professional career as a Production Designer for mosaic at MEC, gaining experience in architectural surfaces, material processes, and large-scale production. This background continues to influence her sensitivity to structure, rhythm, and spatial narratives. Shiza’s work is process-driven and material-focused, using textiles, mixed media, and surface design to reflect personal and collective journeys within urban environments. Her practice draws from lived experiences, translating movement, memory, and city life into tactile visual forms. Her work has been exhibited at Alhamra Qaddafi Stadium and Rangrez Art Gallery, Lahore. She is currently working as a freelance designer while continuing to develop her contemporary art practice.
